Threat Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the latest cybersecurity threats, as well as experience in gathering and analyzing threat intelligence.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and disseminate threat intelligence data from a variety of sources, including open-source intelligence, dark web sources, and internal and external security sources.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of cyber threats and trends to identify patterns and develop actionable intelligence reports.
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement intelligence-driven security strategies and measures.
• Conduct research on emerging threats, attack techniques, and cyber criminals to provide proactive intelligence for our organization.
• Develop and maintain threat intelligence databases and reports to be shared with other teams within the organization.
• Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies, as well as new and emerging threat actors and techniques.
• Provide recommendations for improving the company's overall security posture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in threat intelligence analysis or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
• Experience with threat intelligence platforms, tools, and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify patterns.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and clients.
• Certifications such as GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence, Certified Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst (CCTIA), or CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) are a plus.
